Warranty Policy

1.  The warranty for ceiling fan motors, pedestals, brackets, exhaust louvers, or other fan motors is two (2) years (excluding AC/DC inverter fans or 30W inverter fans). The free warranty period is valid for two years from the date of purchase (terms & conditions apply).

2.  Free warranty claim can be availed only once within two years from the date of purchase.

3.  After the expiry of the warranty period (i.e., after two years), or if the warranty has already been claimed once, any further claim will require the customer to pay the cost of replaced or repaired parts as well as logistics charges, as per the bill.

4.  The warranty applies only to the fan motor. No warranty is applicable to plastic parts, fan body, or any parts other than the motor.

5.  The company will not be responsible if the fan is damaged due to the use of a faulty or higher-capacity capacitor.

6.  Warranty will not be applicable in case of damage caused by low or high voltage, resulting in the burning of the fan or its parts.

7.  The company will not be responsible, and warranty will not apply, for damage caused due to the fan falling during installation, incorrect wiring, loose wiring, pulling of wires, improper installation, or self-repair attempts. In such cases, the customer will be liable to pay the applicable charges.

8.  Warranty will not be applicable in case of physical damage or burning due to water.

9.  The motor warranty for AC/DC inverter or 30W inverter fans is five (5) years from the date of purchase.

10. The kit (PCB) warranty for AC/DC inverter or 30W inverter fans is two (2) years from the date of purchase.

11. If a dimmer is installed with an AC/DC inverter or a 30W inverter fan, a specific part of the PCB (kit) may burn; in such cases, warranty will not be applicable.

12. The company clearly indicates AC and DC connections for AC/DC inverters or 30W inverter fans. In case of wrong or loose connections, the PCB circuit may burn, and the warranty will not be applicable.

13. Warranty covers a one-time motor replacement, subject to availability and active design.

14. Motor burning due to water seepage is not covered under warranty, except for waterproof models (if applicable).

15. In case of a claim, be sure to obtain a copy of the company claim form or bill from the dealer and keep it along with the original purchase invoice.

16. At the time of purchase, customers must verify the dealer certificate issued by the company. Fans purchased from non-authorized dealers or any online store other than starco.pk will not be covered under warranty.

17. In case of any fault within two years, free after-sales home service will be provided in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and other cities where the company’s distribution network exists. For service, contact: +92 31 111 73475

19. For dispute resolution, only the courts of Gujrat shall have jurisdiction.

21. These terms apply only within Pakistan and are valid exclusively for fans manufactured by Starco Electrical Industries Limited.
